Support the Community by Contributing items for the PACE West Holiday Bonanza
DWC has been providing the students at PACE West with an opportunity to shop for gifts for their families using points they have earned throughout the year.
The Education and Libraries committee is making an appeal to the members to donate new or almost new items, appropriate to be given as Christmas presents to Moms, Dads, siblings, other family members, teachers, and friends. The PACE West students save their points and look forward to this event.
PACE West’s Renee Qura wrote – Jewelry is very popular. Food items should be non-perishable and boxed. Items for men are usually in short supply. Men’s sweaters, scarves, and gloves will be appreciated.
There are various donation locations –
- You can bring the item(s) to Sharayu’s house (15714 Victorias Crest Place, Haymarket) till November 20.
- You can bring the donations to the DWC meeting on November 20. Sharayu will collect your items in the parking lot. Please let Sharayu (sharayu.tulpule@gmail.com) know that you will have an item for PACE West.
In addition to the family gifts for the students, we need gift bags of all sizes, tissue paper, bubble wrap, and bows.
